Education List

My main things:

  1. Office Hours & Lessons
  2. Private & Semi-private lessons
  3. Mentorships
  4. Rope semester
  5. Rope Passport
  6. Classes
  7. Tell me about YOU
  • Pre requisites and vetting while many venues require vetting, and I can do it for some, I prefer a 15-minute pow-wow to discuss a few things and get to know you, your goals, and your history. YOU CAN just come to class if the venue allows and there’s room. If you want the full experience, check out this request {coming soon} for a more tailored lesson plan.

Office hours and lessons

Watch my events. I usually host something at least once a month.

Private and Semi-private lessons

Some are posted, but if you want a private or semi-prvate workshop time, message me for availability.

Mentorships

I’m available to mentor you. I ask for a 6-month minimum commitment. Please be prepared to meet up at least once or twice a month and practice at least 4 to 8 days a month, if not more. You’ll have to meet up more if you don’t have a partner.

Rope Semester & Syllabus

I’ve created a rope syllabus to help guide you through your learning process. It’s not a how-to guide. Lessons are still needed. These lessons need not be by me.
You can progress at your own pace. Through me: the Office hours & Lessons, Private & Semi-private lessons, or a mentorship.

  • The syllabus is available for $25 and
  • includes 2 hours of class time & 15-minute coffee shop intro (Private extra)
  • Add the passport for $5

Rope Passport

You have a syllabus full of dozens of ties, but you want something small and easy to carry with just the core ties you’re practicing. This passport is for you! This 28-page pocketbook contains places to stamp your progress through 13 ties. It has 11 suggested themes but allows you to pick the ties and versions you are learning. The passport also has some basics, such as a negotiation & scene checklist, including a spot for your allergies, safe words, and emergency contact.

  • The rope passport is available for $10.
  • It’s also available for $5 with the syllabus.
  • Ask about discounts for more than one.

Class offerings

Classes:

  • Rope: 101 Class… The basics including a couple of basic knots, some rope tips, cautions, and endangerment sites on the body. (Single-column tie, double-column tie, fundamental differences in rope)
  • Rope 102 Class… More rope. You know the basics; now, let’s expand upon it. — 5-MINUTE review followed by a couple of the following. Hogtie, karada, chest harness, arm corset, quick-ish casual party wear, and others by request (Best kept to only a couple to give attendees time to practice a few times)
  • Reading your partner: Ok, you’ve done your negotiations, you know your partner, and you start playing. Now what? Learn what their body is telling you about what you are doing or not doing. Things as simple as the eyes, breath, muscle actions, and other signs the body gives off.
  • Hands on: Warming up, playing, and cooling down your bottom. Have fun with it; this goes hand in hand with reading your partner and can double or triple your playtime.
  • Transitions & Riffing: Roping and playing in a scene is a long-term experience. Have fun with it. It will last longer and be more enjoyable, even if it’s just practice time.
  • Peer Exchange & Rope Bite: I’m available to host peer exchanges and workshops. Often these are unstructured, with fellow ropers sharing knowledge — showing n’sharing skills. Consider it a semi-facilitated practice time. Rather than a formal class, you direct the knowledge you learn and teach. Consider it an adult Montessori education style.
  • Rope Mentorship & personal/one-on-one/small group classes and learning: These options cover advanced techniques and challenge you, the rigger, or the ropee. If you want a specific topic covered, let me know.
